With half the year done TRAC has come along nicely as a club. We have now completed three club rides for the year and each has been well supported with numbers that are what we like to see at rides.
The first ride of the year was in the mid-north of SA and we were based at a rural station. The ride was a welcome start to the year and we luckily had plenty of moisture. Our hosts at Hummocks station couldnt have been more helpful and it’s a great place to stay.
Our second ride for the year was the jewel in the crown, the high country. Riders were treated to 3 days of juicy tracks throughout the Jamieson area in Victoria. We’re set to return again next year it was that good.
The third ride most recently was in the Mallee, a familar stomping ground for all. Wet wet wet conditions made for some interesting braking and cornering lines but the sand was goo…ood. Everyone came home soaked and frozen but it was worth it for the roosting.
Next up we’re heading back for more mallee in the same area because now isnt the time to be on the sidelines, now we ride, yew.
